The story behind the Collection

The Cabo Verde Collection began with learning more about my own family history — and, through that, discovering more about Cabo Verde and its complex and remarkable story.

A country of ten islands, with a community that reaches far beyond its shores. Across generations and across the world, we are united by a unique background, heritage and connection to Cabo Verde.

This collection was created in that spirit original artwork inspired by the islands, reimagined into patterns that celebrate connection, resilience and belonging.
